Itinerary
Day 1 – Lemala Mpingo Ridge (Tarangire National Park) FB
Your day: Arrive in Tarangire National Park, game-viewing en route to the escarpment-top Lemala Mpingo Ridge with sweeping views over the Tarangire River.
Relax in your suite, enjoy the deck and pool, and settle in for your first evening in the Lemala portfolio.
Day 2 – Tarangire National Park FB
Your day: Full day of game drives in Tarangire, known for huge elephant herds, baobabs, and diverse big-cat sightings.
Return to Mpingo Ridge for sundowners overlooking the river valley.
Day 3 – Serengeti (Choose: Nanyukie or Ewanjan) FB
Your day: After breakfast, travel into the legendary Serengeti. Optional stop at Olduvai Gorge en route. Continue through the plains into classic big-cat territory.
Choosing the right camp:
- Nanyukie: Best for big cats, resident wildlife density, year-round game viewing.
- Ewanjan: Best for following the Great Migration — northbound (Apr–Jun) or southbound (Nov–Jan) — with dramatic herds and predator interactions.
Arrive for a relaxed afternoon, scenic views, and a refined Lemala dining experience.
Day 4 – Full Day in the Serengeti FB
Your day: Full-day game drives in the Serengeti, exploring river systems, kopjes, and migration pathways.
Return to camp for an elegant dinner and a peaceful night under vast Serengeti skies.
Day 5 – Lemala Ngorongoro Tented Camp FB
Your day: Scenic transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area arriving at Lemala Ngorongoro, hidden within a beautiful ancient acacia forest.
Enjoy the exclusive Lemala Crater Access Route — the fastest descent to the crater floor for the next morning’s early game drive.
Day 6 – Crater Tour & Return to Arusha B&B
Your day: Early descent into Ngorongoro Crater for a full morning wildlife experience with picnic lunch. Around 13:00, begin the return journey to Arusha.
