Itinerary

Day 1 – Kilemakyaro Mountain Lodge (Moshi) HB
Stay: Kilemakyaro Mountain Lodge — Standard Room

Your day: Land at Kilimanjaro Airport and transfer to the cool foothills of Moshi. The lodge overlooks sweeping coffee estates with distant views of the mountain itself. Settle in, enjoy the pool or gardens, and prepare for tomorrow’s climb with a relaxed dinner.

Day 2 – Mandara Luxury Camp (Kilimanjaro) FB
Stay: Mandara Luxury Walk-In Tents — Private En-Suite

Your day: Transfer to Marangu Gate, meet your mountain crew, and begin the ascent through lush rainforest. Misty canopies, colobus monkeys, waterfalls, and moss-covered trees frame the trail. Arrive to your private luxury tent — already pitched, furnished, and waiting — with warm water and a hosted dinner.

Day 3 & 4 – Horombo Luxury Camp (Kilimanjaro) FB
Stay: Horombo Luxury Walk-In Tents — Private En-Suite

Your day (Day 3): Climb out of the forest into heather and moorland. Clear skies reveal the first real views of Kibo’s glaciers. Explore Maundi Crater if weather allows. Arrive at Horombo where hot water, soft bedding, and a private dining setup await.

Your day (Day 4): A full acclimatisation day with gentle hikes and time to rest. Your private camp offers warm drinks, quiet corners, and panoramic views across the saddle.

Day 5 – Kibo Luxury Camp (Kilimanjaro) FB
Stay: Kibo Luxury Walk-In Tents — Private En-Suite

Your day: Walk across the vast alpine desert towards Kibo Hut. The air thins and the world becomes stark and lunar. Arrive to your tented camp, rest early, hydrate, and prepare for the summit push.

Day 6 – Summit Day → Horombo Luxury Camp FB
Stay: Horombo Luxury Walk-In Tents — Private En-Suite

Your day: Wake at 23:30 and begin the ascent under a dome of stars. Climb to Gilman’s Point and onward to Uhuru Peak — the highest point in Africa. After celebrating at the summit, descend to Kibo for brunch, then continue to Horombo for a well-deserved rest in comfort.

Day 7 – Return to Moshi (Kilemakyaro Mountain Lodge) FB

Your day: Descend through rainforest to Marangu Gate. Receive your summit certificate, greet your porters, and enjoy the ride back to Moshi for hot showers, great food, and a final night beneath the shadow of Kilimanjaro.

Day 8 – End of Itinerary B&B

Your day: Transfer to the airport or continue your adventure with a luxury safari extension.
